Clean and quiet hotel in an interesting neighborhood; Thomas at the front desk was great.
- What did you like most?Thomas at the front desk was very helpful to us. We booked last minute and were able to get assigned a quiet room on the 2nd floor. It was a perfectly clean and comfortable room for a great price. We went out walking in the neighborhood to visit restaurants and bars, a few blocks away. The hotel was clean and quiet. Proximity to the train station was convenient.
- Was there anything you didn't like?Some visitors might be put off by the neighborhood; compared to the Grand Place area, you may notice a bit more trash/graffiti/beggars, but to a nominal degree (didn't bother us, as we are "city people"). I disliked that we had to leave our card inserted in a cardholder near the door in order to keep the power on. We understand the need to conserve power but it was too easy to leave a card behind and complicated the coming and going process.
